Care Robot Zone, Cooperative Robot Zone, Unmanned Convenience Store Zone, and More
Jeonnam Suncheon Robot Education Science announced on the 11th that it provides citizens with opportunities to experience advanced robot technology through various robot experience and education programs.
The Robot Education Science Center consists of the Care Robot Zone, Cooperative Robot Zone, Unmanned Convenience Store Zone, Other Experience Zone, and an Education Room. Each exhibition hall allows visitors to experience specialized robot technologies.
In the Care Robot Zone, visitors can interact with various robots such as Alphamini (Soonbot), Bomi, and Momo to find emotional stability. In the Cooperative Robot Zone, visitors can understand the development of robot technology by experiencing robots carrying objects in real time or operating in response to human body movements and voice recognition.
In the Other Experience Zone, robots can draw portraits and visitors can enjoy various physical activities in a virtual experience space. In the Unmanned Convenience Store Zone, visitors can relax while enjoying ice cream made by robots.
Various educational programs are also offered for elementary school students. On the 15th, the "Robot Coating (Explore Seonamsa)" program will be held, and on the 22nd, the "Robot Operation (Defend Seonamsa)" program will take place. Registration for these programs is already complete.
Registration for the March education programs can be done via QR code on the Suncheon Robot Education Science Center website on the last Monday of February.
A city official stated, "By providing experiences and education in various fields through robots, we will strive to nurture robot talent and help citizens become more familiar with robot technology."
