On the 11th, the Ministry of National Defense stated in a report to the National Assembly's Defense Committee, "We will concentrate all capabilities and efforts to dedicate ourselves to the missions assigned based on laws and regulations."

According to the Ministry of National Defense, the military dismissed former Counterintelligence Commander Yeo In-hyung, former Special Warfare Commander Kwak Jong-geun, and former Intelligence Commander Moon Sang-ho, who were indicted and detained on the 21st of last month. Personnel measures regarding Army Chief of Staff Park An-soo are also under consideration.

Additionally, psychological stability support continues for soldiers deployed during the December 3 emergency martial law. Since the 9th of last month, a psychological education program has been provided to all soldiers in the deployed units for about a month, and in June, additional screening tests will be conducted to identify the occurrence of delayed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Meanwhile, following the December 3 martial law incident, the Ministry of National Defense is also working to normalize defense cooperation and military diplomacy. It has engaged in coordination calls with Pete Hegseth, the new U.S. Secretary of State, and plans to meet with the U.S. Indo-Pacific Commander around April to cooperate with the U.S. defense leadership on crisis management and joint response systems.

Furthermore, in April and May, high-level defense consultative bodies such as the Korea-U.S. Integrated Defense Dialogue (KIDD) and the Korea-U.S.-Japan Security Meeting (DTT) are also scheduled to operate normally.
