Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, sharply criticized Kwon Seong-dong, floor leader of the People Power Party, saying that what the People Power Party should protect is not the leader of a rebellion but the democracy of this country.
On the 11th, Kim Dong-yeon posted on his social media (SNS), asking, "I ask Floor Leader Kwon Seong-dong," and retorted, "Did you start a rebellion because you hate the Democratic Party and its leader Lee Jae-myung?"
He continued, "What does Floor Leader Kwon hope for: recovery and reconstruction? Or an extension of civil war?" and advised, "What the People Power Party should protect is not the leader of a rebellion but the democracy of this country and the lives of its people."
Earlier, Floor Leader Kwon stated, "Right now, the Democratic Party and its leader Lee Jae-myung are ignoring constitutional reform," and argued, "Do they think the presidential election is just around the corner? If this continues, no matter who or which party takes power next, a silent civil war will only repeat."
