Promoting 19 Key Initiatives and 88 Projects Across Five Major Areas
Cheonan City in Chungnam announced on the 11th that it will invest a total of 93.7 billion KRW this year in youth-related projects to create a youth-friendly city.
On this day, the city held a regular general meeting of the Youth Policy Committee in the medium-sized conference room and finalized the implementation plan for this year's youth policies.
The policy consists of 18 key tasks and 88 projects in five major areas: △Employment (11.4 billion KRW), △Education (5.9 billion KRW), △Housing (41.5 billion KRW), △Welfare and Culture (29.3 billion KRW), and △Participation and Rights (5.6 billion KRW).
In the fields of employment and education, the city plans to promote a total of 37 projects, including the operation of the Green Startup Town. For housing stability, it will support the supply of apartment complexes and university student dormitories for happiness.
In the welfare and culture sector, 32 projects are prepared, including support for single-person youth households and the revitalization of youth culture and arts.
In addition, the city plans to enhance youth participation in municipal administration by promoting 15 projects, such as the Youth Day event planned directly by young people and an idea contest.
