Policy Presentation and Customized Q&A Session for Companies
The first session explaining this year’s export support policies established by Busan City will be held.
Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-jun) and the Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration (Administrator Kang Ki-seong) will hold the 2025 1st Joint Explanation Session on Busan City Export Support Policies at 2 p.m. on the 11th at the Sangui Hall of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This explanation session will be held with about 150 executives and employees from a total of nine export support organizations in the Busan area, and will proceed in the order of ▲presentation of each organization’s 2025 export support policies ▲customized Q&A for companies.
The policy presenting organizations are ▲Busan City ▲Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration ▲Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Busan Support Group ▲Busan Main Customs ▲Small and Medium Business Corporation Busan Regional Headquarters ▲Korea International Trade Association Busan Regional Headquarters ▲Korea Trade Insurance Corporation Busan Branch ▲Credit Guarantee Fund Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters ▲Technology Guarantee Fund Dongnae Branch.
Busan City plans to establish its status as a trade hub city by proactively responding to export crises this year through ▲building and operating an export crisis management system ▲simultaneously driving export stability and growth by diversifying export markets ▲strengthening trade response capabilities through expanding trade infrastructure and trade exchange networks.
On this day, the scope of export support target companies will be significantly expanded from small and medium enterprises with a total export amount of less than $20 million last year to those with less than $30 million, and the number of support times for delegations and exhibitions will also increase from two to three, introducing these changing policies.
In addition, various policies and support measures to enhance the global competitiveness of Busan area export companies in preparation for the Trump 2.0 era will be disclosed, and a Q&A session on site will be held to listen to the difficulties faced by companies.
Busan City plans to actively review the difficulties of export companies heard through this explanation session and utilize them when establishing future policies. The 2nd explanation session will be held at 2 p.m. on the 13th at the auditorium of the Busan Small and Medium Venture Business Administration.
Kim Bong-cheol, Director of the Digital Economy Office of Busan City, said, “I hope this will be a meaningful opportunity for Busan’s small and medium enterprises to seek strategies to enter the global market and to share practical support policies by each organization with local companies.”
