AhnLab Reports Operating Profit of 27.7 Billion KRW Last Year, Up 5% YoY

Sales Up 9% to 260.6 Billion KRW

AhnLab announced on the 11th that it recorded sales of 260.6 billion KRW and operating profit of 27.7 billion KRW last year based on consolidated financial statements.

This represents a 9% (21.4 billion KRW) increase in consolidated sales and a 5% (1.3 billion KRW) increase in operating profit compared to the previous year. Net profit decreased by 7% (2.3 billion KRW) to 32.4 billion KRW. On a separate basis, sales increased by 6% (13.2 billion KRW), operating profit by 12% (3.7 billion KRW), and net profit by 28% (9.8 billion KRW) compared to the previous year.

AhnLab stated that while each solution and service area grew overall last year, the next-generation endpoint threat detection and response solution ‘AhnLab EDR’ and the next-generation threat intelligence platform ‘AhnLab TIP’ showed relatively high growth rates.

In particular, it was analyzed that overseas sales increased compared to the previous year due to sales generated from initial infrastructure construction of the Saudi Arabia joint venture ‘Rakeen’.

Kang Seok-gyun, CEO of AhnLab, expressed his ambition, saying, “In this year marking our 30th anniversary, we will achieve meaningful results not only domestically but also in global sales.”
