Changwon Branch Holds Cultural Monthly Meeting

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced that the Changwon branch of the Changwon City Comprehensive Volunteer Organization Council held a cultural monthly meeting where about 80 members watched the movie Hitman 2 at Megabox Changwon.

The event held on the 10th was organized to encourage the hard work of volunteers dedicated to the local community and to strengthen friendship and unity among them. Through this, it aims to provide volunteers with an opportunity to recharge and to promote more active volunteer activities.


Volunteers and officials belonging to the Changwon branch of the Changwon City Volunteer Organization Council attended the event, which included △movie viewing △volunteer activation meeting △volunteer exchange session.


Park Moon-chul, head of the Changwon branch of the Changwon City Volunteer Organization Council, said, “I thank the volunteers who have silently served the local community so far,” adding, “I hope everyone spends a happy day together watching the movie and continues meaningful activities.”


Hong Nam-pyo, mayor of Changwon Special City, who attended the monthly meeting, said, “Thanks to the dedication and efforts of the volunteers, Changwon City is growing into a warmer community,” and added, “We will continue to spare no support at the city level so that the volunteer culture can spread further.”
