"Expanding the Product Lineup to Offer Fresh Experiences"
Plans to Grow the Snack Business Through Aggressive Marketing

SPC Samlip announced on the 11th that it is strengthening its snack category by launching two new Nunettine products featuring chocolate and cream cheese.


Last year, Samlip achieved snack sales of 50 billion KRW by introducing various applied products such as Yakgwa snacks and Almond Chocola Yakgwa, following the Yakgwa craze centered on the MZ generation. This year, the company plans to expand its snack business through new product launches and aggressive marketing centered on the steady seller Nunettine.

First, targeting young consumers, they introduced ‘Nunettine Deep Choco.’ Cocoa is layered between the stacked pies, allowing consumers to enjoy the rich chocolate aroma and the crispy texture of the pie. Additionally, ‘Berry Sweet Cream Cheese Nunettine,’ a bite-sized product using craft cream cheese, will be launched on the 13th. The products are available at convenience stores, marts, supermarkets, and online.


Meanwhile, Samlip has improved product quality while expanding the Nunettine lineup. By improving the production process and introducing new equipment, they enhanced the volume of the pastry and achieved a crispier texture. The package applies an easy cut method to increase convenience when opening.


To celebrate the new product launch, Samlip is holding an SNS event until the 13th. Among participants who tag a friend they want to gift Nunettine to, 15 people will receive the new products. Detailed information can be found on Samlip’s official Instagram account.


A Samlip representative said, “As the ‘Newtro’ trend of re-releasing classic products continues, we have newly launched Nunettine, loved for over 30 years, with trendy flavors. We will continue to expand the Nunettine product lineup so that existing customers can recall memories and new customers can have fresh experiences.”


Launched in 1992, Nunettine is a pie-shaped snack that reinterprets the Italian pastry ‘Sfogliatine Glassate’ (a bakery item topped with meringue and jam on pastry). As of last year, it recorded a 10% sales growth compared to the previous year and continues to be loved steadily.
