Unique Venue is a compound word of Unique, meaning ‘distinctive,’ and Venue, meaning a place. It refers to locations that are not specialized facilities but have local characteristics and can host MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) events.

The newly selected Unique Venues are Daegwangsa Temple (Gumi-dong Bulgoksan), Moani (Geumgok-dong), Saesori Mulsori (Oya-dong), and Seongeum Art Center (Baekhyeon-dong).

Daegwangsa Temple is a temple that houses Mireuk Bojeon, the largest wooden structure in East Asia (area 661㎡, height 33m), and the tallest seated Mireuk Great Buddha statue in Korea (17m). The meditation university lecture room within the temple can accommodate meetings with about 150 participants. Visitors can also experience templestay and temple cuisine.

Saesori Mulsori is a traditional teahouse remodeled from a 100-year-old hanok. The main tiled-roof house and yard together cover a total area of 1050㎡, and the annex can host small-scale meetings for about 20 people in a tranquil atmosphere.

Seongeum Art Center is a cultural event space spanning from basement level 2 to the 4th floor, located in the Baekhyeon caf? cultural street. Besides a 200-seat auditorium, it has a flexible seating basement space with 108 seats for various planned events and seminars. It also includes a caf?
