A New Alternative with Mindset Technology

Bridgestone Golf will launch the Contact B Straight on the 14th.

The key feature is the new technology called ‘MINDSET.’ It is the world’s first to incorporate ‘mental’ aspects into equipment. Developed together with Jason Day (Australia) and his mental coach, the ‘3-step Pre-shot Routine’ is visually represented on the product. It helps golfers reduce tension and increase concentration right before the shot, aiding routine training.

The outermost red circle and arrow in the ‘MINDSET’ represent goal setting. The yellow circle inside means to simulate the ball’s trajectory in advance. Finally, the green dot in the center signifies clearing other thoughts and focusing solely on the green dot and your own senses. In fact, over 80% of testers proved that their scores improved compared to before.

True to the product name ‘Contact B Straight,’ the unique straightness of the Contact B series has been further enhanced. The ‘Contact Force Dimple’ increases the contact area with the clubface at impact through protrusions inside the dimples. This reduces unnecessary side spin and improves spin control.
