Gwangju-based Gwang Medical Health Industry Cooperative (Chairman Park Jeongil, hereafter referred to as the Cooperative) announced on the 10th that its member companies Myungshin Medical Co., Ltd., Softwells Co., Ltd., and TIP International Co., Ltd. jointly participated in the 'Arab Health 2025 Exhibition' held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and signed an MOU worth 1 million dollars (approximately 1.4 billion KRW) with Lifeshots Healthcare Solution of India.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Arab Health 2025 is classified as the largest exhibition in the Middle East and one of the world's top three medical device exhibitions along with Germany's MEDICA and the United States' FIME. The event attracted 3,400 companies from over 180 countries and 100,000 visitors.
Supported by Gwangju City, a joint booth was set up at this exhibition with four member companies participating. Myungshin Medical showcased medical infrared heating devices, Softwells presented professional LED skin care devices, TIP International exhibited scalp care devices, and Progen displayed medical waste treatment systems for healthcare institutions. They highlighted differentiated technology and content, conducting more than 200 consultations with buyers from over 30 countries.
Lee Seungwoong, CEO of Softwells Co., Ltd., said, "I have never felt such high interest and response from buyers regarding K-bio and K-beauty as at this exhibition," adding, "We expect good results and will do our best until export contracts are concluded."
Meanwhile, Lifeshots Healthcare Solution (CEO Krishna Bhat), which signed the MOU, is a company headquartered in Mumbai, India, that imports and distributes innovative healthcare products. It not only sells online and offline but also operates health and wellness center franchises, providing non-invasive healthcare product wellness services.
