The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development launched the Korean Medicine Knowledge Information Portal 'HanuiN' on February 10.

'HanuiN' provides a 'Korean Medicine Archive' service, which allows anyone to access a wide range of materials related to Korean medicine, and features sections for industry information by category, such as business announcements, overseas expansion guides, and patents.
In particular, the 'Korean Medicine Patent Technology Bank' section identifies and verifies promising technologies in the field of Korean medicine and supports their utilization by businesses.
It offers information on Korean medicine patents, including technologies available for transfer, information on technologies companies wish to adopt, free technology sharing, technology sales transactions, Korean medicine technology data books, and technology value assessments.
Additionally, the 'Herbal Medicine Distribution Information' section provides end-to-end data from production to consumption of herbal medicines, helping to enhance the reliability of Korean medicine and generate added value.
Through a business agreement with the Korea Press Foundation, users can also access the latest articles and materials on Korean medicine from various media outlets.
'HanuiN' efficiently integrates and systematizes a wide array of information related to Korean medicine, making it easy and fast for users to find the information they need.
Convenient search features such as keyword search, similar search, and search filter settings are provided, and user convenience has been enhanced through statistical analysis of frequently used keywords.
Kim Sangjin, Director of the Intelligent Informatization Center, said, "The Korean Medicine Knowledge Information Portal 'HanuiN' is expected to make a significant contribution to the development and popularization of the Korean medicine industry by providing reliable and accurate knowledge and information."
