Damyang County, South Jeolla Province, held a meeting on the 10th with the Fire Prevention and Public Relations Team of Damyang Fire Station, a partner organization of the "Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force."
During the meeting, the county shared last year's achievements and this year's operational plans of the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force, including emergency home repairs and safety inspections for vulnerable groups, as well as support for living stabilization funds. They also discussed effective joint response measures, such as identifying welfare blind spots through inter-agency cooperation.
Damyang Fire Station, in collaboration with the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force, provides residents with various services for daily safety, including home fire safety inspections, the provision of first aid kits, and registration for the 119 Safety Call service.
A county official stated, "We will continue to strengthen our cooperation with the fire station to ensure the safety of residents in their daily lives."
