Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the 2024 Seoul City Medication Assistance Autonomous District Support Project Performance Report and Commendation Ceremony held at the main building's 3rd-floor conference room of Seoul City Hall from 10 a.m. on the 10th.
The event was attended by Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, the heads of five autonomous districts, and staff from autonomous districts and welfare centers.
Following this, awards for outstanding autonomous districts and commendations for responsible personnel were presented. Among the 25 autonomous districts of Seoul, Mapo District was the only one to receive the grand prize.
The "Together Oral Health Accompaniment Management" project, for which Mapo District won the grand prize, provides oral examinations and dental treatment services for elderly people living alone and the most vulnerable groups who have difficulty accessing medical institutions.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "I am proud that our Mapo District Office's 'Together Oral Health Accompaniment Management' project was selected as the best district in the 2024 Seoul City Medication Assistance Autonomous District Support Project," adding, "Mapo District will carefully monitor and accompany the health of elderly people living alone and vulnerable residents."
