Dankook University Hospital Holds Briefing Session on Support Project for Transition to Advanced General Hospital Structure

Dankook University Hospital announced on the 10th that it held an explanatory session on June 6 for its partner hospitals regarding the project to support the transition to tertiary general hospital structure.

This project aims to support the structural transition by gradually focusing on the treatment of severe, emergency, and rare diseases at tertiary general hospitals by 2027, while providing intensive training for medical residents.

During the session, discussions were held on establishing a system for fast-track treatment and post-acute care referrals for patients with severe, emergency, and rare diseases, based on information provided by partner hospitals.

Meanwhile, Dankook University Hospital was the only institution in the Chungnam region selected to participate in the project as of November 1 last year, and it has currently established cooperative relationships with 175 hospitals and 596 clinics.
