A man broke into a bank in Busan and threatened to hand over money but was caught by customers and bank employees within 2 minutes.
The Busan Gijang Police Station announced on the 10th that they are investigating a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of robbery.
Mr. A is suspected of attempting a robbery at a bank located in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, at around 10:58 a.m. that day. Wearing a scarf and a hat that covered most of his face, Mr. A reportedly tried to rob the bank by pretending to have a real gun using a toy gun wrapped in black plastic.

A police official said, "While Mr. A was looking elsewhere, the customers and bank employees subdued him," adding, "He was caught within 2 minutes of entering the bank."
After receiving the man from the bank, the police are currently investigating the motive behind the crime. A police official stated, "Since this is an ongoing investigation, we cannot provide detailed information."
