20 Million Won Donated in Cash
Contribution to Local Welfare Promotion
On the 10th, the Haman branch of the Korea Pork Producers Association, a corporation, visited the Haman County Office in Gyeongnam and donated 20 million won in cash to help neighbors in need.
At the donation ceremony, County Governor Jo Geun-je, Branch Manager Kim Gi-ryong, and other officials attended. The donated funds will be delivered to neighbors in need through the Community Chest of Korea.
Representative Kim Gi-ryong said, “I wanted to help neighbors in need in the local community, so I made this donation,” and added, “I will continue to strive to contribute to the promotion of local welfare.”
In response, Governor Jo said, “I appreciate this beautiful gesture of sharing with neighbors in need,” and added, “The funds will be properly delivered to those who need help.”
Meanwhile, the Haman branch of the Korea Pork Producers Association has been making annual donations to neighbors in need and is engaged in various social contribution activities to spread a culture of sharing and promote welfare in the local community.
