Ulsan Ulju-gun announced on the 10th that it will provide consulting support to small local businesses for the prevention of serious accidents.
Since the Serious Accidents Punishment Act was expanded to apply to workplaces with fewer than 50 regular employees as of January 27 last year, small businesses with limited financial resources have been facing difficulties in preventing serious accidents.
This consulting project supports the establishment of essential safety and health management systems to prevent serious accidents. It targets workplaces in Ulju-gun with 5 to 49 employees (excluding construction industry) and is conducted through expert on-site consulting. The consulting service is completely free of charge.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the 28th. Applicants can refer to the announcement on the county office website and submit the application form via email.
An official from Ulju-gun stated, “We hope this project will help small local businesses actively prevent serious accidents.”
