A Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency official stated at a regular press briefing held on the 10th, "We plan to conduct a pre-indictment investigation on 20 reports received by the Yeongdeungpo Police Station and the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Police Agency on charges including threats," adding, "We have requested preservation of the posts and will promptly identify the individuals involved and investigate."

Earlier, around 3 a.m. on the 7th, a user of DC Inside's US Politics Gallery (Mijeong Gallery) posted a message saying, "I scouted around the Constitutional Court," and added, "The walls around the Constitutional Court are low, so it seems easy to climb over if one is determined." Another user shared internal floor plans of all levels of the Constitutional Court in a post titled 'Verification of possible protest locations at the Constitutional Court.' Additionally, numerous posts mentioned preparations such as ladders to climb over police barricades and baseball bats.
