Noru Paint Signs Business Agreement for Local Coexistence 'Food Bank'

"We Will Continue Sharing Activities with the Community"

Noru Paint announced on the 10th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a food bank partnership to donate food to underprivileged groups with Anyang City social welfare organization Yukwaehan Gongdongche.

Through this agreement, Noru Paint will provide leftover food from its daily cafeteria in a hygienic and fresh state, and Yukwaehan Gongdongche will deliver the donated food safely to free meal centers, helping to resolve the issue of food insecurity among vulnerable local populations.

The food bank is a social welfare support system that donates food which is perfectly fine in quality but cannot be distributed in the market, thereby addressing food insecurity for those in need while practicing carbon neutrality through the recycling of resources that would otherwise be wasted or discarded.

The food bank operated by Yukwaehan Gongdongche supports food for 350 individual households, about 60 institutions, and approximately 190 households through a mobile food market.

A Noru Paint official stated, "Supporting food banks will be a win-win activity that can simultaneously support underprivileged groups and protect the environment," adding, "We plan to continue sharing activities together with the community in the future."
