1.2% Domestic Discount, 4% Overseas Discount Until June 30
Lotte Card announced on the 10th that it will launch four types of the 'Trip to Roca Pannibottle Edition' cards. A promotion offering up to 4% discount will also be held until June 30. It is explained that the product is popular among young customers, with two out of three customers (65%) being in their 20s and 30s.
In 2023, Lotte Card released 'Trip to Roca' in collaboration with Travel Wallet. It is a card that offers unlimited discounts of 2% at overseas merchants and 1% at domestic merchants when the card usage amount exceeds 300,000 KRW in the previous month.
In January last year, Lotte Card introduced the Trip to Roca Pannibottle Edition, which features the same benefits as Trip to Roca but with Pannibottle illustration designs. This time, four cards with new concepts such as 'Southeast Asia Bottle', 'America Bottle', and 'Middle East Bottle' have been released with redesigned designs.
Until June 30, Lotte Card will run a promotion that applies higher discount rates to overseas payment transactions. Regardless of the card usage amount last month, if customers use the Trip to Roca or Trip to Roca Pannibottle Edition AMEX brand cards at overseas merchants, they will receive an unlimited 4% discount. When using the Master brand cards of the two cards, an unlimited 3% discount is provided.
The annual fee for the four Trip to Roca Pannibottle Edition cards is 20,000 KRW. The Southeast Asia Bottle, America Bottle, and Middle East Bottle design cards can be issued under the MASTER brand. Applications can be made through the Lotte Card DigiRoca app, website, or Travel Wallet app.
A Lotte Card official said, "Trip to Roca is a card specialized for overseas travel and direct purchase customers, and about 65% of customers last year were in their 20s and 30s, showing strong popularity among young customers."
