On the 8th (local time), during the third round of the tournament held at Bradenton Country Club (par 71, 6,465 yards) in Bradenton, Florida, USA, she recorded five birdies without a single bogey, positioning herself in second place (17-under 196 strokes). She has maintained a 'flawless play' with no bogeys over the 54 holes of the third round in this tournament. No Ye-rim (USA) leads at 18-under 195 strokes, while Lim Jin-hee and Megan Kang (USA) are tied for third place (13-under 200 strokes).
Since her first LPGA Tour victory in 2017, Ko Jin-young has accumulated a total of 15 wins. She won every year up to 2023 but did not record a win last year. Her most recent victory was at the Founders Cup held in May 2023. She has claimed the title at the Founders Cup in recent odd-numbered years, including 2019, 2021, and 2023.
No Ye-rim, a Korean-American player sponsored by Daebang Construction, surged with an 8-under round to dominate the top of the leaderboard. No Ye-rim has yet to win a tour event but finished as runner-up once each in 2019 and 2020. World No. 1 Nelly Korda (USA) is tied for fifth place (12-under 201 strokes) along with Hannah Green. Lee So-mi is tied for 16th (7-under 206 strokes), Lee Jeong-eun 6 is tied for 20th (6-under 207 strokes), and Kim Hyo-joo is tied for 37th (3-under 210 strokes).
