Landslide in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, China... "10 Households Buried"

A landslide occurred at 11:50 a.m. local time on the 8th in Jinping Village, Muai Town, Yunlian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, China, according to China Central Television (CCTV).

As of 5 p.m. that day, it was confirmed that 10 households were buried and about 30 people were missing.

Chinese President Xi Jinping instructed to use all possible means to search for the missing and minimize casualties. Premier Li Chang also emphasized the need to fully commit to the search for the missing. Authorities have dispatched rescue teams to the site to carry out rescue operations.
