A son who killed his mother in an apartment in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, was arrested by the police.
On the 8th, the Dongjak Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges of killing a family member.
The police responded to a report from the suspect's father at around 7:50 p.m. the previous day and apprehended Mr. A.
It was reported that Mr. A had been receiving treatment for a mental illness.
The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A and conduct a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident.
