At the boarding gate, carry-on luggage will be marked with a separate label such as a ‘NO BATTERY INSIDE’ sticker, and only luggage with this label will be allowed to be stored in the overhead compartments. Air Busan plans to refine the procedure based on feedback from the field and expand the operation to all routes in the future.
