Asan City Council: Two Standing Committee Chairs Exceeded Business Promotion Expenses

Two standing committee chairpersons of the Asan City Council in South Chungcheong Province were found to have exceeded their business promotion expense limits in January this year.

According to the council's disclosed business promotion expense data, Jeon Namsu, Chair of the Planning, Administration, and Agriculture Committee, and Kim Eunbok, Chair of the Construction and Urban Committee, spent more than the monthly limit of 604,000 won.

Chairperson Jeon spent a total of 745,000 won, exceeding the limit by 141,000 won, while Chairperson Kim spent 1,071,300 won, which is 467,300 won over the limit.

Kim Miseong, Chair of the Operations Committee, and Lee Chunho, Chair of the Culture, Welfare, and Environment Committee, spent less than the set limit.

Chairperson Hong Seongpyo and Vice Chairperson Maeng Uiseok also used their business promotion expenses within the monthly limits of 1,950,000 won and 920,000 won, respectively.
