A Total of 443 Appointed, Including 262 for Kindergartens and Elementary Schools and 181 for Secondary Schools
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Acting Superintendent Choi Yoon-hong) announced the regular personnel appointments effective March 1 for 443 individuals, including administrators of kindergartens, elementary, and secondary schools, as well as educational professionals, on February 7.
In this personnel appointment, 216 school administrators for kindergartens and elementary schools and 127 for secondary schools were assigned. For kindergartens and elementary schools, 103 individuals were appointed as principals, including 67 through promotion, open recruitment, transfer, and reappointment, and 36 through reassignment. Additionally, 113 individuals were appointed as vice principals, including 49 through promotion and transfer, and 64 through reassignment.
For secondary schools, 63 individuals were appointed as principals, including 48 through promotion, open recruitment, transfer, and reappointment, and 15 through reassignment. Furthermore, 64 individuals were appointed as vice principals, including 47 through promotion and transfer, and 17 through reassignment.
Moreover, 46 educational professionals for kindergartens and elementary schools and 54 for secondary schools, who will contribute to the change and development of Busan education through the implementation of the new 2025 Busan education policy focusing on academic achievement and character education, were appointed through promotion, transfer, and reassignment.
Acting Superintendent Choi Yoon-hong explained, “This personnel appointment focused on the stable implementation of Busan education policies and support for the operation of individual school curricula by appropriately placing school administrators and educational professionals who possess both expertise and capabilities.”
