Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the '2025 Nuisance Wildlife Damage Prevention Team Workshop and Safety Training' on the 5th at the Yeongdeok Environmental Resource Management Center to minimize crop damage caused by nuisance wildlife and ensure the safety of residents.

This event, jointly conducted by the Yeongdeok-gun Environmental Sanitation Division and Yeongdeok Police Station, provided education to 16 members of the damage prevention team on firearm safety rules, nuisance wildlife capture safety guidelines, biosecurity measures to prevent ASF, and how to document capture evidence, aiming to prevent firearm accidents and ensure safety.
Kim Myung-hee, head of the Yeongdeok-gun Environmental Sanitation Division, stated, “We hope to join forces through the active efforts of the damage prevention team and thorough safety training to prevent crop damage caused by nuisance wildlife and block the introduction of African Swine Fever.”
