Easy-to-Understand Housing Welfare Service Guide

Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 7th that it will produce and distribute an “Easy-to-Understand Housing Welfare Project Guide” and an e-book version of the guide, allowing citizens to easily access various housing support programs aimed at ensuring housing stability, improving welfare, and enhancing accessibility to housing welfare benefits.
This guide contains various housing welfare policies tailored to different groups, such as housing benefits operated by the government and city, and housing support for youth and newlyweds, providing detailed information on eligibility and application methods.
The city has customized a total of 12 projects in the 2025 Easy-to-Understand Housing Welfare Service Guide by category: ▲Low-income sector (3) ▲Newlyweds (2) ▲Disabled (1) ▲Youth (4) ▲General sector (2).
Detailed support includes ▲Housing benefits (rental benefits, repair and maintenance benefits, separate payment of youth housing benefits) ▲Rental deposit support for low-income groups ▲Moving expense support for housing-vulnerable groups ▲Interest support for newlywed jeonse loan ▲Interest support for newlywed home purchase loan ▲Housing renovation projects for the disabled ▲Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport youth monthly rent support ▲Changwon City youth monthly rent support ▲Monthly rent support for victims of jeonse fraud ▲Low-interest loan interest support for victims of jeonse fraud ▲Jeonse deposit return guarantee fee support ▲Interest support for jeonse loan for multi-child families (three or more children). The guide is organized to allow easy overview of various housing welfare projects.
In particular, the guide clearly organizes eligibility, application methods, timing, and required documents by user group, making it easier for citizens to conveniently receive benefits. The produced guide will be available at ▲Eup, Myeon, and Dong administrative welfare centers ▲District offices and city hall civil service offices, and an e-book version will be linked and sent along with moving-in notification text messages.
