Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju announced on the 7th that it will implement a project to improve the quality of cadastral records in order to protect citizens' property rights and enhance the reliability of land administration.
This project aims to provide accurate land administration services by correcting minor errors that occurred during the digitization process of basic land information data (cadastral maps, forest land maps, and continuous cadastral maps).
Since 2022, the district has allocated a total budget of 600 million KRW and digitized 742,972 cadastral records to protect citizens' property rights.
Park Byungkyu, head of the district, said, "Cadastral records are essential administrative data that form the basis of property rights," and added, "We will do our best to improve the quality of cadastral records, protect citizens' property rights, and enhance the reliability of land administration."
