Go Seon-jae, Chairman of the Seocho District Council, received the 'Korea Local Assembly Service Award' at the regular general meeting of the 'Korea City, County, and District Council Chairpersons Association' held in Cheongju on the 5th.
The 'Korea Local Assembly Service Award' is given to council members who have made significant contributions to community development, improvement of residents' welfare, advancement of local autonomy, and enhancement of the status of local councils. It is organized by the Korea City, County, and District Council Chairpersons Association and selected based on the evaluation of legislative activities by the Local Assembly Development Research Institute.
Chairman Go is recognized for actively communicating with the community through principled and balanced leadership. Based on this, he has promoted policies reflecting the voices of district residents and taken the lead in resolving local issues. Additionally, he has worked to enhance the council's capabilities and expertise and strengthen cooperation among council members.
Chairman Go stated, "I am pleased and grateful to have my efforts in legislative activities for the residents recognized," and added, "I will continue to carry out responsible legislative activities for regional development and improving the quality of life of the residents."
