Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, participated in the donation ceremony for the Sandle Children's House Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal on the morning of the 6th.
The donation ceremony was held at 10 a.m. on the 6th in the Mapo District Office 9th floor conference room. Attendees included Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Lee Hong-ju, Chairman of the Mapo Welfare Foundation, Lim Young-im, Director of Sandle Children's House (public), the operating committee, and 14 children.
The Sandle Children's House (public) Operating Committee donated 1,774,000 KRW raised through a bazaar for the 'Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal' project, which provides lunch to seniors aged 75 and older.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "With your donations, we will provide filial piety meals to seniors living alone. Such meaningful acts of kindness will be remembered even when they grow up," adding, "Mapo will become a city where seniors are happy and a good place to raise children."
