Jeon Han-gil, a government history instructor who has supported President Yoon Seok-yeol while claiming election fraud, announced that he will soon stop his broadcasting activities.
On the 6th, Jeon appeared on Channel A Radio's 'Political Signal' and spoke about his future plans. He said, "During the state of emergency, I criticized President Yoon Seok-yeol, but afterward, the massive impeachment initiated by the opposition party paralyzed the executive branch," adding, "I thought, 'The Democratic Party's sole goal is to seize power,' so I believed that reinstating President Yoon to his duties and normalizing the national system should be the priority."

He continued, "I am not a politician. I am just an ordinary citizen acting out of concern that the country should not collapse," and said, "Amid the crisis of liberal democracy falling apart, I raised my voice even if it meant not making money." He also stated, "I promised that the March 1st rally would be my last. I plan to participate in rallies only until then," and added, "My broadcasting activities will end next week." Jeon expressed, "There is strong opposition at home. Although I am doing this for all citizens, my family feels anxious due to talks of bomb threats and such," and revealed, "I am using private security guards, a smartwatch, and receiving police protection for my safety."
He also said, "My wife is very anxious about her husband, who used to quietly earn well, be respected, and popular, suddenly acting like this," and added, "I taught classes late into the night yesterday, so my neck is stiff and my eyes are swollen, but this morning my wife barely wanted to give me food." Along with this, he appealed, "Dear citizens, please help persuade my wife."
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun, a member of the Democratic Party and chair of the Public Communication Committee, announced at a press conference on the 6th that "Jeon Han-gil and others will be reported for incitement to rebellion next week."
