Nexon to Launch 'Mabinogi Mobile' on March 27... "Captured the Original's Romance"

Nexon announced on the 6th that it will release the new MMORPG title 'Mabinogi Mobile' on the 27th of next month.

Kim Dong-geon, CEO of Devcat and director of Mabinogi Mobile, introduced the game at an online showcase, saying, "The unique sentiment and romance of Mabinogi are core values that must be preserved," and added, "You can consider it a parallel world of Mabinogi and 'Mabinogi Heroes'." The game is based on early episodes of Mabinogi and features some locations and characters from Mabinogi Heroes. Original characters exclusive to Mabinogi Mobile will also appear.

He also shared plans for new regions and content operations. In April, a high-difficulty dungeon called 'Abyss' and a 'Raid' content where multiple players cooperate to conquer will be launched. The development team plans to sequentially introduce new hunting grounds, 'Gureum Hwangya' (Cloud Wilderness) in June and 'Senmai Pyeongya' (Senmai Plains) in September.

Additionally, Nexon will conduct pre-registration ahead of the official launch of Mabinogi Mobile. Participants in the pre-registration will receive rewards such as costume sets and 50,000 gold. More detailed information about Mabinogi Mobile can be found on the official website.
