to City Administration Development

Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) is taking the lead in creating a public service culture that recognizes achievements by conducting special promotions for public officials who have contributed to the development of city administration.

On the 6th, Hanam City awarded special promotion certificates to nine public officials selected as special promotion candidates in recognition of their contributions to the development of city administration. The special promotion system promotes public officials by one salary step regardless of the promotion period for those with distinguished service.


The special promotion recipients include Kim So-young and Jeong Da-hye, administrative officers of the Civil Affairs and Passport Division; Choi Dong-hyun, team leader, and Kim Han-seong and Kim Hye-in, administrative officers of the Architecture Division; Woo Young-ho, team leader of the Construction Division; Min Byung-chul, administrative officer of the Taxation Division; and Jeong Je-gyo, team leader, and Lee Young-cheol, administrative officer of the Metropolitan Transportation Division, totaling nine people.


Looking at the main achievements of the special promotion recipients, Kim So-young and Jeong Da-hye of the Civil Affairs and Passport Division contributed to Hanam City being selected as the best institution for four consecutive years in the comprehensive civil service evaluation jointly hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.


Choi Dong-hyun, team leader, and Kim Han-seong and Kim Hye-in, administrative officers of the Architecture Division, led the change in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s legal interpretation, enabling the installation of park golf courses within the development restriction zone. Woo Young-ho, team leader of the Construction Division, successfully led the non-direct connection promotion of the (provisional name) Suseok Bridge to Misa New Town. Min Byung-chul, administrative officer of the Taxation Division, achieved the collection of 34.8 billion KRW in acquisition tax by inducing a change in the transaction method of the data center.


Jeong Je-gyo, team leader of the Metropolitan Transportation Division, contributed to the inclusion of a general train turnaround track in the basic plan for Subway Line 9, and Lee Young-cheol, administrative officer, was recognized for actively promoting the adjustment of the location of the (provisional name) Sindeokpung Station on Subway Line 3 and the establishment of a vertical transfer system at Dream Rest Area.
