[Special Stock] SOOP Rises Over 14% on Global Strategy Shift

SOOP is showing strong performance. This appears to reflect recent expectations for stable earnings growth and changes in global strategy.

As of 1:35 PM on the 6th, SOOP is trading at 132,300 KRW, up 16,700 KRW (14.45%) compared to the previous trading day. It has been on an upward trend for five consecutive trading days, with a surge of over 27% the day before.

Lee Junho, a researcher at Hana Securities, stated, "The change in SOOP's global strategy has alleviated concerns about performance deterioration due to global SOOP sluggishness and cost burdens," adding, "Global performance is directly linked to competitiveness in the domestic platform market and will provide an advantage in securing streamers in the future."

He continued, "SOOP's previous global strategy focused on securing traffic centered on e-sports and gaming, then expanding the market with virtual streamers, and subsequently diversifying into various genres such as visible radio. However, the current strategy prioritizes the penetration of visible radio."
