397 Courses Offered at 6 Universities
Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that the university lifelong education center consignment programs for the first semester of 2025 will begin in March, and they are currently recruiting students.
The university lifelong education center consignment courses are programs operated by Changwon City in cooperation with local universities to provide various learning opportunities to citizens. Lifelong education centers from six local universities?National Changwon University, Gyeongnam University, Changshin University, Changwon Moonsung University, Masan University, and Korea Polytechnics VII?are participating, and various courses tailored to the educational needs of local residents will be offered.
Changwon City will support tuition fees to reduce the financial burden on citizens and workers. Vocational training courses will receive 100,000 KRW per course, while other fields will receive 60,000 KRW per course.
In particular, starting this semester, to serve citizens in the eastern part of Jinhae-gu, the Ungdong Cultural Center will be used as an education venue to newly establish and operate three courses: △ Smartphone Art Photography and Travel Photography △ Basic Men's Haircut Beginner △ Emotional Urban Sketch. This is a measure to provide learning opportunities to citizens who had difficulty accessing educational benefits due to distance.
