Mobile Transportation Card K-Pass Refunds and Points Offered

Using Naver Mobile Transportation Card will allow you to receive 'K-Pass' benefits.
Naver Pay announced on the 6th that it has applied K-Pass refund benefits to its mobile transportation card. With this card, you can use public transportation such as buses and subways with Naver Pay Money.
This card is equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality. You can make payments by placing your mobile device on public transportation terminals. There is no need to open a separate application. There are no fees for charging or refund fees for remaining balance refunds when conditions are met. By using the auto-charge feature, if the transportation card balance falls below a certain amount, it will be charged with the set amount, so you do not have to worry about the balance.
K-Pass benefits have been added to the basic benefits. If you use public transportation more than 15 times a month with the Naver Pay mobile transportation card, you can get a certain percentage of your spending refunded up to 60 times a month. Refund rates are up to 20% for the general public, 30% for youth, and 53.3% for low-income groups. Discount benefits are also applied for additional refund recipients such as multi-child families. K-Pass refunds are automatically paid in the form of charging money on the 20th of the month following the use of the transportation card.
You can receive K-Pass benefits by registering your Naver Pay mobile transportation card number on the K-Pass website. Existing K-Pass subscribers must newly register the Naver Pay-linked K-Pass. Existing K-Pass usage will be automatically canceled. For more details, check the 'Register K-Pass' option on the transportation card page at the bottom of the QR payment page in the Naver Pay application.
Naver Pay will run a promotion throughout this year for all new registrants to commemorate the application of K-Pass benefits. All users who newly register their Naver Pay mobile transportation card with K-Pass will receive 3,000 points. Regardless of payment usage performance other than the transportation card, up to 8,000 points will be additionally provided. Based on the previous month's transportation card usage amount, you can accumulate 2,000 points for spending over 50,000 KRW, 5,000 points for over 100,000 KRW, and 8,000 points for over 150,000 KRW every month.
Lee Hyang-cheol, Naver Pay Pay Service Lead, said, "We launched the Naver Pay mobile transportation card last year and applied K-Pass benefits this time to make it easier and more reasonable for users to use public transportation." He added, "We will continue to actively expand services tailored to user payment flows so that payments can be conveniently made anywhere online and offline with just Naver Pay."
