Transfer completed with one touch... K Bank launches fast and simple 'Transfer Widget'

K Bank has launched a widget feature that allows users to quickly and easily transfer money by just touching the smartphone background screen without launching the application (app).

K Bank announced on the 6th that it has released the 'Transfer Widget' feature. It supports both Android and iOS, and distribution began on the 6th, with sequential application to users.

A widget is a setting that allows quick access to specific functions or information by creating a separate icon on the smartphone home screen without running the mobile app.

K Bank developed this transfer widget to provide the fastest and simplest account transfer function for customers who frequently use remittance services.

Users can create a widget sized 4x2 cells (iOS) or 5x2 cells (Android) on the smartphone background screen and register and edit up to three accounts they frequently transfer money to. After selecting one of the registered accounts on the widget, users only need to enter the amount to quickly complete the transfer.

In particular, if the login retention feature is enabled in the K Bank app, the transfer is executed without a separate login process, making it even more convenient.

For example, if you register frequently used accounts such as an academy account for monthly tuition payments, a group account for weekly membership fees, or a friend's account for frequent Dutch pay, you can select the account on the widget and enter the amount to instantly transfer money without launching the app.

K Bank plans to add various additional widget feature services based on customer feedback and opinions.

A K Bank official said, "We aimed to provide a simple and fast service by minimizing the process for customers who use remittance as the main function," adding, "We are also preparing to improve the transfer process to offer a more convenient banking environment in the future."

To use the transfer widget, updating to the latest version of the K Bank app (Android 1.5.20 / iOS 1.5.25) is required, and the app update will be applied sequentially starting from the 6th.
