Proposal for Securing National and Local Government Funding for Next Year
Requesting a Total Budget of 300 Million KRW for Pest Control and Facility Improvements in the Park
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 6th that it visited the Daejeon Government Complex Natural Monument Center to request financial support for the 2026 national and local government budget securing projects.

The Director of the Cultural Facilities Division and the Sangnim Forest Officer visited the relevant departments of the National Heritage Agency to explain the necessity of a total project cost of 300 million KRW for four projects in addition to the existing forest protection projects. These projects include pest and sudden pest control occurring in Sangnim Forest, as well as improvements to visitor convenience facilities such as restrooms and drainage maintenance within the forest, and requested support.
The Cultural Facilities Division continuously maintains Sangnim Park, a representative tourist attraction and natural monument of Hamyang-gun, to enhance the health of the forest and provide a pleasant and safe environment, offering residents and visitors the beauty of the forest throughout all four seasons.
An official from the county stated, “We will do our best to discover current issues in Sangnim Park, preserve this natural heritage to pass on to future generations, and create a convenient and safe environment for visitors.”
