IBK Industrial Bank launches 'IBK Certificate' exclusively for individual business owners

Available for Non-face-to-Face Financial Services and Next-Generation Nara Marketplace Electronic Bidding by the Public Procurement Service

IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 5th that it has launched the ‘IBK Certificate,’ an exclusive digital certificate for individual business owners that supports reducing financial costs and enhancing digital convenience for small and medium-sized enterprises. In December 2023, IBK became the first bank in the industry to receive government approval for a corporate simple certificate.

The ‘IBK Certificate’ adopts a non-face-to-face identity verification method, allowing issuance through the corporate smart banking app (i-ONE Bank Corporate) without visiting a branch or submitting documents. The issued certificate is encrypted and securely stored, enabling convenient use without the need for certificate copying procedures.

The ‘IBK Certificate’ can be used for IBK Industrial Bank’s corporate internet and smart banking financial transactions, as well as for electronic bidding on the Public Procurement Service’s next-generation Nara Marketplace. The bank plans to expand the certificate’s usage to various public and private institutions in the future.

To commemorate the launch of the ‘IBK Certificate,’ IBK Industrial Bank will temporarily waive the certificate issuance fee.
