The Gyeongsangbuk-do Exporters Association visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Office on the 4th, where 12 executives of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Exporters Association and Governor Lee Cheol-woo attended, and donated 26 million KRW to overcome the low birthrate issue.
The Gyeongsangbuk-do Exporters Association consists of 1,230 member companies and contributes to resolving export difficulties and revitalizing exports through the formation and operation of a council of export companies in the province, sharing trade-related information, and collaboration among companies. It also promotes various activities such as customized consulting by export experts, dispatching professional trade delegations, exhibitions, and export consultation meetings.

Yeo Gwontak, President of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Exporters Association, stated, “The low birthrate issue is a serious problem threatening the sustainable development of our society,” adding, “Gyeongbuk exporters aim to unite their efforts to contribute to solving this problem.”
This donation involved the participation of the executives of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Exporters Association, who plan to conduct various campaigns to raise awareness of the low birthrate issue among companies and encourage more companies to join.
Governor Lee Cheol-woo of Gyeongbuk said, “Active participation by companies will be a great force in solving the low birthrate problem,” and added, “We will continue to cooperate with the local community to create tangible changes.”
