Lee Doha Becomes the First Participant in the Life Cycle Sharing Program
An infant just over one hundred days old, born in the Seongnam area of Gyeonggi Province, has attracted attention by making their first-ever donation.
Seongnam City announced on the 4th that on the 3rd at 4 p.m., a 'First Donation of 1 Million Won Ceremony' was held in the mayor's office with Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin, Lee Do-ha (Sujeong-gu, Changgok-dong, born October 12, 2024), and the parents in attendance.

The donation will be delivered to low-income children through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.
Lee Do-ha’s mother, Hong Ye-rim (34), said, “While working as a local broadcast reporter, I saw cases where costs for first birthday parties were donated to low-income children. I decided to make a donation to meaningfully commemorate our baby’s hundredth day and to create an opportunity for him to grow up as a child who practices sharing.”
Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin said, “Although the first donation started according to the parents’ will, Do-ha will inherit his parents’ good intentions and grow into a warm-hearted child who cares for neighbors in need.”
Seongnam City has decided to promote a new project called the ‘Life Cycle Sharing Program’ to foster a culture of donation in daily life.
The Life Cycle Sharing Program encourages donations on commemorative occasions throughout one’s entire life, such as pregnancy and childbirth, hundredth day, first birthday, school entrance, graduation, employment, promotion, and sixtieth birthday.
Lee Do-ha became the first participant in the Life Cycle Sharing Program.
Seongnam City presented Lee Do-ha with a Sharing Leader Certification Plaque produced by the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.
