Yangju City Holds Meeting in Hoicheon 3-dong
Plans for Town, Township, and Neighborhood Meetings at 12 Locations

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City attended the first town, township, and neighborhood meeting of the year held in Hoicheon 3-dong on the afternoon of the 3rd, listening closely to the voices of citizens and marking the beginning of active efforts to address public welfare. This series of meetings is scheduled to continue until the 24th.

On this day, the meeting was not a mere formal gathering but was organized as an opportunity to directly communicate with citizens on-site, gather diverse opinions on city administration, and seek solutions to local issues.


The event was attended by Mayor Kang Su-hyun, City Council Chairman Yoon Chang-cheol, city and provincial council members, relevant senior officials, and local residents. Various topics of interest to residents, such as transportation and road safety?issues closely related to daily life?were discussed, and practical measures to resolve these matters were considered together.


This initiative is one of the seven key policy directions announced by Mayor Kang in his New Year's address, demonstrating his commitment to actively reflect citizens' voices in city administration by directly listening to their suggestions and providing responses on-site.


Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City stated, “Each citizen’s voice is a vital driving force shaping the future of Yangju. Based on the collected opinions, we will promote practical policy improvements and further strengthen citizen-centered administration.”


Meanwhile, Yangju City plans to visit the following locations in sequence: starting with Hoicheon 3-dong on the 3rd, Okjeong 2-dong on the 4th, Jangheung-myeon on the 5th, Yangju 2-dong and Yangju 1-dong on the 6th, Nam-myeon on the 7th, Hoicheon 1-dong and the Urban Environment Office on the 19th, Hoicheon 2-dong and Okjeong 1-dong on the 20th, Eunhyeon-myeon (including the recycling sorting center) and Baekseok-eup on the 21st, and Gwangjeok-myeon and the Agricultural Technology Center on the 24th.
