Three District Offices to Be Visited for New Year... Listening to Key Issues of Districts and Neighborhoods
"Organic Cooperation Needed... We Must Create a 'Better Seongnam, Complete Seongnam'"

Shin Sang-jin, mayor of Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, will visit three district offices over three days from the 4th to the 6th.

This visit is being promoted to listen to major issues of the districts and neighborhoods, and to create a forum for dialogue with employees, aiming to build a closer and organic cooperation system between the city and the districts and neighborhoods to create a "Better Seongnam, Complete Seongnam" together.


On the first day of the event, the 4th, Mayor Shin will visit Jungwon District Office, on the 5th Sujeong District Office, and on the 6th Bundang District Office in sequence, conducting inspections of the civil service offices, listening to major work reports from the districts and neighborhoods, and having time to communicate with employees.


The major work reports from the districts and neighborhoods will be conducted through a comprehensive report by the district heads and reports on current issues by senior officials of the districts and neighborhoods, sharing issues to seek progressive solutions together.


Following this, under the theme of "An Important Meeting of Communication Between the Mayor and Employees," activities such as "Shinmumul (Ask Mayor Shin Sang-jin Anything)" will be held, focusing on strengthening two-way communication.


Mayor Shin Sang-jin of Seongnam City said, "This district office visit, held for the first time in the 8th elected term, was prepared to encourage district and neighborhood employees who silently dedicate themselves to citizens in their respective positions, while sharing the direction of city administration and fostering close communication." He added, "I hope all public officials, with a responsible attitude that they represent the city, will listen to the voices of citizens and communicate to carry out administration that citizens can truly feel."
