Jangseong County Recruiting Participants for Local Community Job Program

54 Participants to Be Selected for 18 Projects

Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting participants for the first half of the year for its Community Job Project.


This project provides public jobs linked to local issues, helping residents who have difficulty finding employment to establish a stable livelihood.

In the first half of the year, a total of 54 people will be selected for 18 projects, including the management and development of the Pyeongrim Dam Theme Park, maintenance of the Hwangnyong River riverside flower complex, flower seedling production and flower hill creation, development of public sports facility tourist sites, and support for library management.


Eligible applicants are unemployed residents aged 18 or older who are registered in Jangseong, with household income at or below 70% of the median income and total assets under 400 million KRW, according to the resident registration certificate.


The project period is four months, from March to June, with a work schedule of 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week, and an hourly wage of 10,030 KRW. Snack expenses and paid weekly and annual leave are also provided.


Applications can be submitted until the 6th by bringing identification and required documents to the administrative welfare center of the applicant's registered address.
