Honoring the Noble Spirits
of Patriotic Martyrs and Fallen Heroes
The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Veterans Association held a regular memorial ceremony at 10 a.m. on the 3rd at the National Jeju Memorial Cemetery's Chung Hon Tower to honor the noble spirits of the patriotic martyrs and national heroes. Provided by Jeju Province.
The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Veterans Association Council (Chairman Bae Munhwa) held a regular memorial ceremony at 10 a.m. on the 3rd at the Memorial Tower of the National Jeju Patriots Cemetery to honor the noble spirits of the patriotic martyrs and fallen heroes.
This event was organized by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Branch of the Korean War Bereaved Families Association (Branch Chief Kang Eungbong). The ceremony was attended by Jeong Giljae, Director of the Jeju Veterans Affairs Office, Jeong Youngsook, Director of the National Jeju Patriots Cemetery, Bae Munhwa, Chairman of the Jeju Veterans Association Council, and other related officials. They paid tribute to the noble spirit of sacrifice shown by the patriotic martyrs and fallen heroes who devoted themselves to the nation and its people, reaffirming their love for the country.
Jeong Giljae, Director of the Jeju Veterans Affairs Office, stated, "It is very meaningful to be able to honor the spirit of sacrifice of the patriotic martyrs and fallen heroes who gave their lives for the country," and added, "We will do our utmost to carry on their spirit and ensure that national patriots and their bereaved families can live with pride and honor."
The Jeju Veterans Association Council holds regular memorial ceremonies on the first day of every month, continuing efforts to remember and carry on the sacrifices of those who served the nation.
