Gangjin County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jinwon) has been honored with the selection of its rural stay tourism brand 'FU-SO' as the representative brand in the public sector (stay-type tourism program) at the 2025 Korea Brand Hall of Fame.
According to the county on the 3rd, the 'Korea Brand Hall of Fame', now in its 9th year, is an award hosted by the Industrial Policy Research Institute and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It is a prestigious award that discovers and recognizes outstanding brands contributing to the development of domestic industries and consumer satisfaction.

FU-SO, which stands for 'Feeling-Up, Stress-Off', has been loved for the past 10 years as an original program that provides modern people with a unique opportunity to relieve stress and recharge emotionally, in line with its meaning of 'raising emotions and eliminating stress'.
With this award, FU-SO has further solidified its brand credibility and laid the foundation to widely promote the rural stay tourism model both domestically and internationally.
Governor Kang Jinwon stated, "The selection of FU-SO for the Korea Brand Hall of Fame is an achievement made possible by the collaboration of county residents and operating farm households," adding, "With this award, Gangjin's rural experience tourism will further develop and become a sustainable tourism hub."
This year, as FU-SO marks its 10th anniversary, Gangjin County will promote a variety of events and programs. Plans include recruiting new participating farms, providing facility support, strengthening quality control, and developing products in line with tourism trends, with the aim of revitalizing the resident population and realizing the vision of becoming Korea's leading tourism city.
