On the 2nd (local time), at the Pebble Beach Golf Links (par 72, 6,972 yards) in Pebble Beach, California, USA, the final round of the PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (total prize money $20 million) concluded, where Kim added a 2-under 70 to finish tied for 7th place (16-under 272). After achieving his third PGA Tour win at the 2023 Shriners Children's Open in October, he hoped for his fourth career victory after 1 year and 4 months but was satisfied with a top 10 finish.

This tournament is a signature event ranked just below the four major championships and The Players Championship. Only 80 players participated, including last year's top 50 in the FedEx Cup rankings, this year's tour winners, PGA Tour members ranked within the top 30 in the world rankings, and the top 10 in this year's FedEx Cup among players without other qualifications.

Kim started tied for 4th place, 2 strokes behind the leader, and recorded six birdies and four bogeys. In the first six holes, he exchanged two birdies for two bogeys, struggling to lower his score. After sinking a 3.4-meter birdie putt on the 7th hole (par 3), he added a 2.5-meter birdie on the 9th hole (par 4) to stay in the race for the title. Although he bounced back with a birdie on the 13th hole (par 4) after a bogey on the 12th hole (par 3), a par with a "2-on 3-putt" on the 14th hole (par 5) was disappointing. He lowered his score again on the 16th hole (par 4) but there were not enough holes left.

World No. 3 Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) shot a 6-under 66 to win by 2 strokes (21-under 267). Notably, he made an eagle putt on the 14th hole, extending his lead over the chasers to 3 strokes. He triumphed in his first tournament of the year. This was his 27th career win, his first in 9 months since the Wells Fargo Championship last May, with a winner's prize of $3.6 million (approximately 5.2 billion KRW).

Shane Lowry (Ireland) finished 2nd (19-under 269), while Justin Rose (England) and Lucas Glover (USA) tied for 3rd (18-under 270) with strong performances. Jeb Straka (Austria), the American Express winner and leader from the previous day, failed to lower his score and dropped to a tie for 7th. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA) shot a 5-under 67 to finish tied for 9th (15-under 273).

Korean players showed strong finishes on the final day. Kim Si-woo lowered his score by 4 strokes to rise to 12th place (12-under 276). An Byeong-hun surged 30 spots from the previous day with a 6-under 66 to finish tied for 22nd (10-under 278). Im Sung-jae also lowered his score by 3 strokes to finish tied for 33rd (9-under 279).
