SKT Launches Beta Test for Enterprise AI 'A.Dot Biz'... "Release Within First Half of Year"

Joint Development with SK C&C... Closed Beta Test for Employees Begins This Month
A. Biz Handles Search, Meeting Room Reservations, and More via Chat
A. Biz Professional Offers Customized Support for Legal, Tax, and PR Fields

SK Telecom announced on the 3rd that it began an internal closed beta test (CBT) of the business AI agent 'A. Biz,' which is being jointly developed with SK C&C, starting from the 31st of last month. The test subjects are about 300 members from SKT and SK C&C.


A. Biz is SK’s AI solution for business-to-business (B2B) clients, designed to enhance productivity based on AI technology.

Through this CBT, SKT plans to test two versions of the AI agent: A. Biz, which handles routine tasks, and 'A. Biz Professional,' specialized for expert tasks, preparing for full-scale market entry.


A. Biz provides frequently used functions in daily work such as searching for information inside and outside the company, taking meeting minutes, managing and coordinating schedules, booking meeting rooms, and IT helpdesk support. When a member inputs a work-related request into the A. Biz chat window, it not only provides answers but also executes the tasks seamlessly.


For example, if a user commands, "Check available meeting rooms for tomorrow morning," A. Biz considers the member’s current seat and schedule to search multiple meeting rooms and even make reservations. Meeting invitations and attendee schedule coordination are also handled through chat alone.


A. Biz Professional supports customized functions specialized in expert fields such as legal affairs, tax, and PR. In the legal domain, it reviews existing materials on specific issues to provide legal advice, while in PR, it monitors and summarizes news related to the company. These specialized functions aim to increase practical AI utilization by members.


A. Biz will continue to enhance its performance by utilizing various language models, including SKT’s proprietary large language model (LLM) 'A.X' and OpenAI’s 'ChatGPT.' SKT has formed a task force (TF) led by user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) experts to improve quality and usability, and plans to incorporate feedback collected from members during this CBT to enhance quality.


After improvements, SKT plans to officially launch the commercial version of A. Biz within the first half of this year and prioritize supply to 21 major SK Group member companies.


Shin Yong-sik, Vice President and Head of SK Telecom’s AIX Division, said, "This CBT will be an important opportunity to test various functions with internal members ahead of the full launch of SKT’s next AI B2B service, A. Biz. We will refine the service quality to present a highly complete official version and continue efforts for AI-based work innovation in the industry, including SK member companies."
